Ground School

Officers who are also CFIs teach free ground school on evenings during the semester.

Instrument

This course will cover instrument rating aeronautical knowledge prescribed by 14 CFR §61.65(b) and prepare students for the FAA Instrument Rating Airplane (IRA) Knowledge exam.

Fall 2026: Weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00pm from September 8 through November 10, with no class the week of Thanksgiving. Location TBD.

Private Pilot

This course will cover Private Pilot aeronautical knowledge prescribed by 14 CFR § 61.105 and prepare students for the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge exam.

Fall 2026: Weekly on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00pm from September 10 through December 3, with no class the week of Thanksgiving. Location TBD.
